The fine print, in plain English
How cards leave the vault.
One person packs every card that ships from here. No warehouse, no dropshipper, no customer service script. If something goes wrong you're emailing the person who put it in the mailer.
01
Shipping
Every order ships tracked and insured for its full value. Nothing goes out in a plain envelope, and nothing goes out without a tracking number you'll get by email.

Buying several cards? They ship together in one package, and the shipping is free once the order crosses $100.
02
How it's packed
Raw cards go in a penny sleeve, then a toploader or one-touch, then a team bag, then a rigid mailer. Graded slabs are wrapped and braced so the case can't move against the box. The goal is simple: the card should arrive in exactly the condition the photos show.
03
If a card isn't what was listed
Every card here is one of one, so these aren't returned to a shelf — which is why the policy is narrow and specific rather than a blanket 30 days.
You can send it back if the card that arrives doesn't match its listing: wrong card, wrong grade, damage or a flaw that isn't in the photos or the condition notes. Email within 3 days of delivery with a photo, ship it back in the same holder it arrived in, and you get the full purchase price plus the return postage once it's in hand.
You can't send it back because a comp moved, because the card graded lower than you hoped at a different company, or because you changed your mind. Raw cards are sold with their flaws described and photographed — read the condition notes, and ask before you buy if anything is unclear. Cards that come back cracked out of their holder, altered, or in different condition than they left aren't refundable.
Not sure? Ask first. A question costs nothing and the answer is honest.
04
Authenticity
Every card in the vault is guaranteed authentic. Graded cards carry a cert number that links straight to the grading company's own lookup — check it before you buy, not after. Raw cards are sold as raw with honest condition notes; nothing here has been trimmed, recolored, or otherwise doctored.
If a card sold from this site is ever shown to be inauthentic by PSA, BGS, SGC or CGC, it comes back for a full refund including both directions of shipping, with no time limit. That one has no expiry date, because it shouldn't need one.
05
If the post office damages it
That's what the insurance is for, and it's handled from this end. Send a photo of the package and the card as it arrived, and the claim gets filed here — you don't chase USPS, and you're not out the money while it's sorted.
06
Payment & your details
Payments run through Stripe. Card numbers go straight to Stripe and are never seen by, or stored on, this site. The email and address you enter at checkout are used to send the card and its tracking number, and for nothing else — no list, no resale, no marketing you didn't ask for.
The Ledger email signup is separate and entirely optional: it's used to say when new cards land, and you can reply to any of those emails to be taken off it.
Still have a question
Ask before you buy, not after.
Corners, surface, centering, how it's packed, whether two cards can ship together — anything. A card you're sure about is worth more than a sale that ends in a return.
